Welcome to NZShift. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of nzshift.co.nz (the "Site"), operated by NZSHIFT ("NZShift", "we", "us", "our"). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.
NZShift is a New Zealand motorsport hub. We aggregate and publish information about motorsport events, venues, guides and related resources to help fans, drivers and organisers. We provide this information for general informational purposes.
Event details on the Site (including dates, times, locations, entry requirements and pricing) are gathered from organisers, venues and publicly available sources, and may change or contain errors. We do our best to keep listings accurate and current, but we don't guarantee that any listing is accurate, complete or up to date.Always confirm event details directly with the organiser or venue before travelling, paying any fee, or otherwise relying on the information. We're not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused by inaccurate or out-of-date listings.
Listing an event, venue or organiser doesn't mean we're affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of them, unless we clearly say so. Trade marks, logos and event names belong to their respective owners.
If you submit an event or listing (including via "List your event" or "For organisers"):
-you confirm you have the right to submit the information and that it's accurate;
-you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, edit, format and promote that information on the Site and our channels;
-you agree we may edit, decline or remove any submission at our discretion; and
-you must not submit anything misleading, unlawful, or that infringes someone else's rights.
Listings are currently free. We may introduce paid or featured listings in future, which will have their own terms.
The Site and its content — including text, guides, design, graphics and code, but excluding third-party material and user submissions — are owned by or licensed to NZShift and protected by law. You may view and share content for personal, non-commercial use. You must not copy, scrape, republish, or commercially exploit the Site or its data without our written permission.
You agree not to:
-use automated tools to scrape, harvest or copy Site data;
-interfere with or disrupt the Site or its security;
-use the Site for any unlawful, misleading or harmful purpose; or
-misuse the contact or submission forms (e.g. spam).
The reaction-test and any other interactive features are provided for entertainment only, "as is", with no guarantee of accuracy or availability. Any scores or results are indicative and just for fun.
The Site links to third-party sites, including organisers, ticketing pages and affiliate partners. We don't control and aren't responsible for their content, products or practices. Some links are affiliate links, meaning we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties not expressly stated in these Terms.Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986 where they apply. Where you use the Site for business purposes, you agree those Acts don't apply to the extent the law allows.To the extent permitted by law, we won't be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from your reliance on Site information, third-party content, or any interruption to the Site. (Optional: Our total liability to you, where it can't be excluded, is limited to NZ$[100] or resupplying the relevant service.)
You agree to indemnify us against any loss or claim arising from your misuse of the Site or breach of these Terms.
We may update the Site and these Terms at any time. The current version will be on this page with the "last updated" date. Continuing to use the Site means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by New Zealand law, and the New Zealand courts have non-exclusive jurisdiction.
