Opening round of the 2026 South Island Endurance Series — GT3, GT4 and production machinery back at Levels Raceway for the first time in a year, 18–19 September 2026.
The 2026 South Island Endurance Series gets underway at Levels Raceway in Timaru on 18–19 September — the first of three South Island rounds that form the SIERDC championship, Levels returning to the calendar after a one-year absence. Expect a full grid of GT3, GT4 and production-based machinery across a mix of 3-hour and 1-hour race formats, with class battles running from the fastest GT cars right through to Class 4 and 5 production saloons.
Levels is a 2.4km FIA Grade 3 circuit at Falvey Road, run anticlockwise, operated by the South Canterbury Car Club. With just 7 turns and a clean, flowing layout, it rewards mechanical grip and tyre management over outright downforce — making it a favourite among endurance teams and spectators alike.
