Taupō Drift gives drivers of all experience levels the chance to send it sideways on one of New Zealand's best motorsport circuits in a safe, structured environment. Held across multiple dates through the year at Taupo International Motorsport Park, the format splits drivers into groups — road car, caged car novice, and caged car advanced — ensuring everyone gets appropriate company on track. Each participant gets a minimum of five 20-minute sessions throughout the day, with tandem runs permitted once you've proven your competence in your first session. All you need is a minimum restricted civil licence, a roadworthy car, and a helmet — no competition licence required. Bookings are essential and must be made by 4pm the day before; walk-ins are not accepted.
