A month of New Zealand motorsport covers a lot of ground. Between the national championship rounds that draw crowds from both islands, there's a constant undercurrent of club days, test days and grassroots meetings — the kind of thing that gets announced on a club Facebook page three weeks out and is easy to miss entirely if you're not already in the loop. This page lists everything still to come this month, from circuit racing and drifting through to drag racing, karting, speedway, rally and off-road. Each event shows its venue, region, start date and a link to the organiser's own entry information, so you can work out what's worth the drive and what you need to enter well before the gates open. Timing matters if you're planning ahead. Speedway runs October through April and goes quiet over winter. Rally peaks in spring and autumn when the gravel's at its best, and the big multi-day events — the Silver Fern, the national championship rounds — tend to cluster there. Drag racing, karting and circuit test days run year-round. Whatever month it is, there's usually more on than you'd expect within a couple of hours' drive.
