Fans can enjoy wheel to wheel action from the Castrol Toyota Formula Regional Oceania Trophy, MSC Formula 5000, Historic Formula Atlantic & Formula Racing NZ, HVRA Historic Saloons (1960–1980) and HVRA Heritage Touring Cars (post-1980).
From the raw sound and character of historic race cars to the speed and precision of the next generation, there’s something for every motorsport fan across the Taupō circuit.
The Castrol Toyota Formula Regional Oceania Trophy adds a glimpse into the future of the sport, with rising stars going head to head alongside some of the most iconic cars from New Zealand’s racing past.
The Repco NextGen NZ Championship’s Formula Atlantic New Zealand Grand Prix Double-Header returns for a second year, with rounds at Giltrap Group Taupo Historic GP and the NAPA 71st New Zealand Grand Prix at Highlands Motorsport Park. The feature race winner at Highlands will be awarded the Tim Miles Memorial Trophy, honouring one of New Zealand motorsport’s greats.

Please enter through Spectator Gate 1, located off Broadlands Road. Spectator parking will be located on your right-hand side. The ticket booth and entry gate are centrally located within the public car park.
Embankment Parking
Embankment Parking is NOT for Motorhomes and Camping. Embankment Parking is only available for cars/SUVs to view the racing during the day.
